I wrote this song in 1999 after to moving to our house on Tully Pond, located in North Orange, MA. The song is about this lovely community and our life there (Sophia, Orion, Isabella and me).

on Tully Pond
F G
out behind our house
G C
on Tully Pond.
Chorus

Oh,
Cmaj7 A
what a beautiful world we live in
G
where everyone knows your name
Cmaj7 A
and they ain’t afraid of giving
G
Oh,
A
what a beautiful world we live in
G
you’ll wash away your pain
A
the day that we go swimmin
A
the day that we go swimmin
A
the day that we go swimmin
A
the day that we go swimmin
When the world’s go to you
and you ain’t sure what to do
turn your back to the Sun
Lord, you’re not the only one.
Hey come on in
we can go for a swim
out behind our house
on Tully Pond
out behind our house
on Tully Pond.
